i have this circuit in ADS and i want to calculate IIP3 .
can anybody help me?

it didn't help me...

Why ?

My links are very enough for evaluation of IIP3 for your simple differential amplifier.

What is your question ?

First of all, there is no signal source driving your differential amplifier.
Do you understand a definition of IIP3 ?

Re: IIP3 calculation in ADS

yes i know!

let me see your secound link..

oh no
the secound link did not help me too
please explain the method for me

If you know a definition of IIP3 for your circuits correctly, I think you don't have to post question at all.

Again my links are very enough for evaluation of IIP3 for your simple differential amplifier.

What on earth is your question ?

Again see links I refered surely.
Especially, second link is not easy to understand unless you are very familiar with both Agilent ADS and Cadence Spectre.

Re: IIP3 calculation in ADS

i don't want you to refer me to Advanced Design System 2009 guide page...

i just want a simple hint!

Your requirement of simulation is too easy.
So there is no simple hint better than "Tutorial Examples in Advanced Design System 2009".
See "Tutorial Examples in Advanced Design System 2009" surely.

And followings are not from "Tutorial Examples in Advanced Design System 2009".

As far as I see all your previous posts, you also have Cadence Spectre although you don't seem to be familiar with Cadence Spectre too.

If you use Cadence Spectre instead of Agilent ADS, can you do simulation setup of IIP3 ?
If so, IIP3 evaluation in ADS is same conceptually.

Or is there any simulation enviornment where you can do IIP3 evaluation, such as Mentor eldoRF, Synpopsys HSPICE-RF, etc.
Again, IIP3 evaluation in ADS is same conceptually whatever simulator you use.

If you have actual measurement experience of IIP3, simply emulate actual measurement setup in simulation.

Learn measurements using actual instruments. Not "EDA Tool Play".

Re: IIP3 calculation in ADS

you know, i can measure IIP3 using HSPICE, but in HB simulation in ADS there is an IP3in tool and i want to use this tool.

It is very suspicious whether you can measure IIP3 correctly using HSPICE.

It seems you can't understand IIP3 evaluation for your circuits at all.

"iip3_in()" returns value as "dBm".

http://edocs.soco.agilent.com/display/ads2009/ip3+in()#ip3in()-1105339

Simply do same measurement as HSPICE by using ADS HB analysis.

Generally IIP3 is defined for input voltage not input power for your simple circuit.
So IIP3 is evaluated for relation of differential output voltage v.s. differential input voltage.

Do you define IIP3 as input power with some reference impedance value ?

i dont want you to help me
dont buzzer me Mr.
understand?

Re: IIP3 calculation in ADS

i think i must use Vn-tone and sweep the voltage amplitude
