Hello,

Has anybody used TSH300 ?

I have built very simple non-inverting opamp ckt with gain of 20 on a PCB.

Somehow it is not working.

Power Supply : +-5V

Input:
10MHz, 50mv rms

Problem :
- Output is clamped to : -5V
- TSH300 draws almost 100mA from -ve supply rail, while current drawn from +ve rail is 20mA. And also IC becomes hot.

What could go wrong in such a simple circuit ?

According to the datasheet, maximum supply voltage is 6V. It may have been damaged by the +/- 5V supply or hopefully doesn't operate temporary.

Is it ? I think is 6V on VCC and -6V on -ve VCC pin.

After i check the spec, find that there are two packages with different pin assignment for TSH300.
So, would u use the SOT23-5 or SO8 ?
It is only correct by using SOT23-5 in ur circuit diagram.

Hmm ...

I had somehow missed that footnote on page 2 of datasheet. Thanks for pointing it out.
