Or a Triac for that matter?

I am not making any particular circuit, but I would like to study the behavior driving an inductive load.
At this point of time, is academic interest only.

hi,
Try these in LTSpice.
Change the .txt extension back to TECCOR-SCR-Test.asc [ the site does not allow .asc uploads]
Also the teccscr.txt to .lib

If you are interested I have more lib/asc files.

Thanks esp1, always wanted an SCR for LTspice, i changed the "value" in the SCR symbol to "EC103A", but for some reason it doesnt recognise it, -i added the teccscr.lib file to the relevant spice file in Program Files folder.
I then put ".INCLUDE teccscr.lib" in the schematic, but still doesnt recognise.

hi treez,
It works for me with EC103A.
Keep the lib file in the same folder as the asc file.
[look at the contents of the lib files using a text editor, you should see the EC103A and other SCR's]

Attached for reference is the the triac_lib , change from txt to lib extension.

Eric
