half wave dipole antenna HELP PLZ

i have started to work on hfss and got results and i want to ask about half dipole antenna :

i want to know some application of half wave dipole where can i use it i read that we can use it in WIFI but i want some applications as well i want to design a half dipole antenna what do u think for which frequency i can get best results so i can use it in applications ...im trying to find a information about the half wave dipole application ,, i hope you can help me in that .... thanks alot
