"Digital Signal Processing with MATLAB" by Proakis is a good book and it is uploaded on rapid share..... i dont remember the exact but i got its link from EDA links forum...

first try to study some local author books that is very clear in language and go for big authors like openhaem and schaffer. Try practising some of the code in matlab.where u have some predefined codes like fft..........
