GSM Project Idea Needed for FYP!!

gsm project idea

We are in 6th semester in Telecommunication Engineering

& want to do some work on GSM in our Final Year Project.

So, I need some idea about it that at this stage what should be done?
what do u think that what must we do?

for me i dont think that you can do any new project in GSM so it's better to choose some other technologies such as UMTS,WIMAX and CDMA2000

Zaib, I would recommend you to work on WiMAX. Motorola, in Pakistan, is currently working on it.

yes thats the question what can we do in telecomm i mean physical circuits plz guide
i am interested in making ciruits controller based (or PC parallel or serial port comunication) but i want it to be a telecomm project also at the end, what can i make plz help
