gsm modem sim900 problem

hi all
i have been using gsm modem SIM300DZ only for sending or receiving the sms's. now i want to use SIM900 intead of SIM300. can u tell what i have to do more? or these are same for such purpose. what are the diffrences between both modems?

Hi Noman Apart from the voltages on the I/O, the main and most annoying difference is that the sim 900 only accepts AT commands in upper case. I have attached a couple of file which may be of use.

sim 900 only accepts AT commands in upper case.

This is not true. I have SIM900 and it accepts at commands in both upper and lower case.
