mixed-signal guard ring

Hi,

How to connect the substrate in the following drawing?
(A,B,C,D)

Thanks.

Tony

A-to-B-to-PAD (AGND pin)

C-to-D-to-PAD (DGND pin)

Are you mean to short the digital ground with its bulk connection, also the pad ring?

Thanks.

Usually pad ring is connecting to DGND. If so, my answer is yes.

if you have enough pins the best performance is
connecting each A,B,C and D outside the chip
together.

it is better if the guard ring of the digital part doesnt enclose the analog part.
