Grid Problem in layout...

Hello

I have a problem with the grid.. I have set some specific value for X and Y . Now wen I place the vias or any metals , How do i know if they are on grid or not.. ?? How do u check at various points on the layout if they are off grid..

Run a DRC, it should tell you (if the DRC rules contain off-grid checks).
