I'm trying to find a way to turn an old portable dvd player into a lcd monitor that accepts analog video. I know the chip that drives it is the maple technology mt1711 driver, and that on the board that has the driver there is labeled cvbs. Is it possible to just put a composite on the cvbs pin in and have it display the video in? Or am i just making things up and inventing my own physics and electrical know-how?
