DEAR SIR,
WE HAVE GPRS MODEM MODEL NO: M12Z111.

WE HAVE ENERGY METRES WITH RS 485.
ENERGY METER DATA STORED THROUGH PLC.
WE RECEIVED A DATA THROUGH GPRS/GSM MODEM.

HOW TO Data read through other location through DHCP/ static IP.
KINDLY SEND A PROCEDURE.

BY THANKS
S THILAGAR.

if the modem supports TCP/IP you could send data using UDP or TDP protocols to a remote server

TCP/IP would be a better option...

Pls explain how the meter, gsm/gprs modem are connected...U had mentioned PLC ---- is it Power Line Communication u r talking about??

use http requests with the data you want to transmit embedded in the request. easy method!
