qs- electrical wikipedia

hi guys/gurus,

can anyone explain to me,,wats the difference btw short circuit current and earth fault current?

thks a million

earth fault current is a short circuit current that runs towards the earth from the circuit above the earth like a transmission line.

Short circuit is when your connection is neglecting any poin in the real circuit dis allowing current to flow on that branch of the circuit system. It may be earth fault and it mat be not if it's not connected to ground directly
