good book for learning matlab

i have a course on dsp in my present semester. i would like to start learning basics of matlab. can anyone suggest a book which is easy to understand so that i can start off with matlab
 

i would suggest you to install MATLAB and use the MATLAB help that comes with. as far as i know there is no book better than this,
 

You can get quite a few good tutorials off the web. I just googled "MATLAB tutorial" and this one was the first on the list:

It looks like it should cover all of the basic, or you can google and find one that better suites your needs.
