gm measurement plot in OTA in CADENCE 6.1.4

Hello everyone,
I want to plot transconductance(gm) Vs. Vid curve for OTA. How to draw it plz show me method?
And also tell me how to create emacs file for spectre simulator to perform transconductance measurements?

Well u can refer the tutorial on plotting the gm of the circuit in cadence.

but i want to plot Vin Vs gm of programmable OTA. it means of whole circuit not for a particular MOSFET.
plz, help me what to do for it?

Hi Rajeshree,

setup up your testbench such that your OTA is in unity gain Feedback. Run a DC sweep and measure the output error current. you can connect your output to a current mirror source/sink (it depends on your transconductance design).

Change in o/p current wrt change in i/p V is your Gm of the whole circuit..
