I am using MPLAB v8.84.
I had made PORT A as input port in my program. I want to give input to that port but if i edit value in make it is not changing.
Then i created a workspace in debugger and created a instruction to set A0 bit high. While the simulation is running i fired the instruction by opening the work-space but nothing happened. :-(
So please help me how to give input to an input port.
Thank you.

What will you get by giving input to the pin? Is there some code like if your input pin is high or low then toggle some other output pin? Use Proteus to simulate. Post the screenshot where you change the value of the PORT pin.
