Gerber Files : Help Regarding

Hello All,

I designed PCB, I converted them into gerber files, I got some mask, err, metric and cond files during conversion. Is there any setting to be done manually in the obtained files. The substrate is ROGERS 4003, But i dont understand which files i have to send to the manufacturer to get it on board. Please help me. I also request to explain me about gerber files step by step.
