I have a sine wave signal (representing position of an encoder). I want to measure its frequency in real time. How should I do it in Simulink?

thanks

I too have a similear issue. I need to measure the frequency of a square wave signal.

moreins, Have you had any luck figuring out how to do this?

Have you manage to measure this frequency in Simulink or have you got any general idea how to obtain the speed of motor having the impulse train from encoder ?

I got similar problem: I designed a PLL, and would like to measure its output frequency in real time and display it in simulink, but how to do this? Did lots of googling, but have not found any solution.

Could anybody shed some lights on me?

Thx
