frequency in the modulated signal

i have a message signal in 400Hz , and a carrier frequency is 2000Hz...
what is the frequency for the modulated signal after modulate this 2 signal together
Can anyone help me or give a formula how to calculate the frequency for modulated signal

any suggest...

What type of modulation? For instance DSB (double sideband) will have 2x bandwidth, SSB (single sideband) will have 1x bandwidth.
