Frequency contents of an impulse train!

Hi guys,
It is clear that an impulse signal has all the frequencies in equal amount...

An impulse train is nothing but the same impulse signal generated periodically...

So if impulse has all the frequencies how can an impulse train not contain all frequency just like an impulse ?

Is there a point that I'm missing?

The frequency components of the impulse train .. or the impulse itself is dependent on the width of the impulse ... If it is more there will be lot of frequency components with varying magnitudes, if the width is considerably smaller then it may have very few frequency components. Refer to the links below -

Hi,
But if i consider an impulse train with pulse width tending to zero what I get is impulses in the frequency domain at frequencies f,2f,3f....if f is the fundamental frequency....but an impulse on the other hand has frequencies in between f and 2f


Other frequencies are missing even if impulse signal had it ...
