the output of the error amplifier used in a dc-dc convertor is often coupled to a capacitor and a resistor.
it is said that the capacitor and the resistor in series are used to compensate

but how they works?

who can give me some references and guidence on this subject

thank you

Re: frequency compensation in the output of an error amplifi

U can refer to Razavi book, Design of Analog ICs, and read the frequency compensation chapter. U will find answers to ur questions.

they generates a zero to compensate pole, so the phase margin is improved

Re: frequency compensation in the output of an error amplifi

Paul Gray's book more detail.
