Hi Guys,
I found 2 ports for FreeRTOS. The PC and the Win32 using visual studio 2008 compiler.
Can I run the PC port on a windows PC?
If so, what is the difference between this port and the Win32 Port?

Added after 21 minutes:

I have tested the PC port with open watcom it is working. Make sure that COM1 is connected in a loop back to avoid errors. The test is running under windows vista.

Added after 1 hours 38 minutes:

I tried out the PC port and it ran under windows. It is published at https://embedded-tips.blogspot.com/2010/04/running-freertos-with-microsoft-windows.html.
If any one has recommendations why to run Win32 port, please feedback me.
