jtag schematic

Hi,
I am a novice and working on phycore-LPC2294 (ARM7TDMI) system. Now I need a JTAG system debugger for it . But not have enough fund to buy one.

So, anyone please tell me how can I debug using JTAG interface of LPC2294?

Is there any way to connect JATG to parallel or serial port and any free tools to debug?

Or any free schematic for JTAG-USB connected debugger schematic ?

Thanks in advance.

wiggler debugger schematics

Salam,

I am using free schematic JTAG debugger called "Wiggler" with ARM LPC2138.

It costs approx 2$ if you want to build it :)

It works very fine with CrossStudio For ARM for programming and debugging.

Search the web for Wiggler Debugger Schematics.

Bye

walikum as salam,

Thank you for your reply.

The schematic looks very simple! Can you program flash as well as debug? Does it work with IAR workbench or Keil uVision3?

Salam,

Yes you can program the flash too with CrossStudio.
No, It will not work with Keil.
I didn't test it with IAR.

Bye

jtag debug, arm schematic

The wiggler interface will work with IAR, but as they an old macraigor driver it is not as reliable as rowley tools - rowley have written their own driver.

gdb insight/gdb works well if used with ocdremote from macraigor.
It also now supports flash breakpoints/stepping correctly.
