fpga tutorial

hey all,

Can someone help me to learn about fpga? It'll be better if you can tell me the tutorial site ....

Thanks

Take a look at the attachment..its very useful..

it contains all details on FPGA and CPLD..

hope its useful..

with regards,

A good tutorial is posted on this site

I dont remember the exact link but there was a good book on mcu.cz/atm/
search there

I have a GAL.. is that included as PLD?
I think FPGA is very interesting, but do we must have the development board? And if you know how much is it?
Thanks for the repply

GAL is a PLD.
If you want to play ith FPGA then a board is necessary.
Companies such as ALTIUM ( www.altium.com/livedesignkit ) offer Evaluation Kits. This include software, board and FPGA. The price was something close to $120.

Here's a site that sells a finished board or a kit. You can download the manual in advance. Price isn't too bad.
