i need 5v for adc input but actual voltage comes from some devic as 10v how to convert to 10v to 5v?

You have to use a voltage divider which divides 10V into 5V and 5V. A 2 x 10k resistors will do the job. What MCU and ADC are you going to use ?

As yours is a analog voltage input in the range of 0 to 10V I guess. Convert this to 0 to 5V with the help of instrumenation amplifier with a gain of 0.5 and feed the output of it to the ADC. It will be the better way to do the level conversion of an analog signals.
