FM modulation with a DDS chip??

Many of the ADI DDS chip are easy to perform AM modulation by changing the AMPLITUDE register, is there an easy way to perform the FM modulation?

Since the IO speed of the DDS chip is as fast as 100Mbps, is it possible to change the FREQUENCY register dynamicly according to the input signal(such as audio signal)?
