Hi all,

I designed flywheel generator with 3kW power, 110v . while doing 2d analysis am not able to match up Eddy current density. Can anyone help me with appropriate formula to calculate eddy current density in generator/motor.

Use Faraday’s law to get the function of the radius than use Ampere's law to model the magnetic field as a function of radius.

The magnetic fields... in your case are used to calculate the potential heat and drag.
