Where this name is from ? i didn't see it in any reference , until now . it is a forward converter without discharge coil and parallel diode . and of course it's efficiency is pretty low and it can't handle large vale of powers . did you test any forward converter without discharge coil until now ? i have tested it , some years ago , the result was pretty bad . it is enough that you just suppose that , when the core stored energy at the off time , it can't be discharge and then , it will saturate , and then the behavior of your core will be logarithmic and of course it can't work .
