flow for characterization of standard cells

I am new to this standard cell characterization field. Can some one tell me the flow for the std cell characterization. And what are the input files to Prime time SI and what is its output file.

Which tool you ae using for standard cell charaterization ?

inputs to PT si are netlist, spef ( with capacitive coupling ) , constraints file
and out put is noise and timing reports.
