Can somebody upload more documents related to this one? Like hardware or circuit( gate level or transistor level) implementation for FIR filter.

qmf design toolbox

Hi Troops,

I have small and very old program 'Filter'.
It was a good tool in the past. If i have to design an analog filter now I will use it. The problem is that it seems it doesn't work under W XP (just tried it). It is actually dos based application.

Probably now there are much better tools( but I have not seen).

Now the best way to design any digital Filter is Matlab,digital filter design toolbox is available in it,i am using Matlab to design digital filters which are a part of QMF,I think the best Algorithm is Remez,Remez Algorithm design FIR filter with smallest order as possible,and the error of design in the transient band is very small too
