Hi all,

m planning to do power monitor.....i planning to use acs756(current sensor) to my project. i need to know wether this sensor can be used for my project. if can be used, there are two types of polarization for tis sensor, unipolar and bipolar. which one is the best? if u guys feel tis sensor cant be used for my project....pls suggest to me a good sensor which can measure ac and dc current. pls help me....

hi,
hw about for DC? my project require me to measure both ac and dc.....can i use bipolar polarization for both ac n dc?

it all depends on how much accuracy your system needs, but i think it is good enough for your purpose. try to use any sensor with digital output and auto calibration.
see the link below for more precision

also see AD7294( its not a hall effect sensor)
