file size limit in linux

Hello All,

am running a video application in Linux platform.WHile execution i am getting an error like "File size limit exceeds" , I refered web sites. Found ,

"Your system administrator must have imposed limitation on your account for file size creation" from https://www.cyberciti.biz/faq/file-size-limit-exceeded-error-under-linux-and-solution/

So i set file size unlimited using "ulimit -a "...

Still the problem remains. I am in a very tight schedule. Any suggestion is highly appreciated.
