Hai all

Can I use a point to point fiber connection to connect my two remote offices without router ? That is connected the link directly to switch in two locations with a fiber-ethernet media converter .But this is not working properly, our service provider instructed us that this connection cannot use to communicate multiple computers , its only can use to communicate two devices located in the two ends . They also tell me that "you should remove the connection from switch in two ends and connect the cable directly to the computer also if you want connect the cable to switch and use for multiple computers communication you should use routers in two ends " . Is it true ? Is there any alternatives for my need ? Please help me

Regards
Aneesh
