Hi,
Does anyone know how to perform a FFT on the transient analysis results in ANsoft Designer 2.1? It has a spectral domain slection in its Create Report dialog, but just don't know how to set the Start, Stop, and number of harmonics in its Transient Spectrum box. Like if I input a sinewave and simulate for 20us, and I want to check the spectrum of the output sinewave, how should set it up? I slected Transient solution and Spectral domain in its Context box, and set Start=0us, and Stop=20us and Number of Harmonics =10 in its Transient Spectrum box, then slect to plot the output voltage using magnitude, it just wouldn't give me the right plot.
BTW, I think Ansoft (especially Designer) products have a very poor user's help document. They seem to assume that you have already know how to use the product, bulls**t!
