Ferric Chloride amounts

Hello.

I'm gonna try the toner-iron etching technique.
One friend of mine told me that 1L water needs 100g ferric chloride. Is this true? Any other suggestions?

Hot and strong is the rule here. The concentration I use is 200 grams per litter.
