Hi,

are there one transmit feed and one receive feed in a dish antenna or can they be combined together?

They can be combined but you can't transmit the same (or very close) frequency whilst simultaneously receiving at the same frequency on the same antenna. To do so would effectively drive the transmitter directly into the receiver. However, if suitable isolation between the frequencies is provided or if they are time multiplexed it is certainly possible.

Brian.
