feature extraction of Brain PET images

hi, pls share me the matlab code to extract features from a brain image. or general feature extraction of any image is required. i need to know the methodology,........
 

where are the pics?
Basic steps include re-processing,Feature extraction, dimensionality reduction and Finally Classification
 

i have applied legally for getting 3D brain image which is scanned by PET,
i am really new to matlab. couldnt know what exactly each module does. i jus need any practical demo for these modules from first for any example.

to know things practically, i wolud like to see such demos, pls help me.......
