FAT filesystem for compact flash using NIOS processor

I am using a Stratix FPGA evaluation board from ALTERA.
This board has a compact flash interface.
I am using the NIOS cpu in my system.
I wanted to install a FAT filesystem in the compact flash.
Where can i get the source code for this.

Hello reju_r,

You will find a lot of information about FAT in this forum or in the WWW. Also there are some companies which are selling FAT filesystems for the Nios -> Google it with “fat altera nios”. As far as I know there isn’t a complete and free FAT available for Nios. There is also a forum for the Nios (**broken link removed**) where you can get detailed information about it.
