20ma led driver

Hi,
I'm trying to develop LED driver for biological exercises. LED lighting must be fast switched on and off (slope below 0.5us) and programed with 1% resolution. Maximum current is 20mA.
It is a part of uC standalone unit.
I searched for 0-20mA line drivers but they are too slow. Have found opamp MAX4165 with 80mA output but this is too slow.
Also 30mA output DAC the MAX5550 has non acceptable settling time of 30us

I'd be grateful for any solution advices.
Kind regards,

It should work with any fast OP controlled current source. MAX4185 is obviously too slow. Also a video DAC can drive 20 mA directly with ns rise times, but this solution would be needed only for arbitrary waveform generation.
