Hello everyone,

I want to make a fast data logger card with PIC. The card is going to read input dc and ac voltages, convert them to digital values and store them to an external memory or to PC. Here are the specifications:

1. Fast 10-bit sample rate (up to 1 MSPS) I assume that I am going to use an external ADC for that speed.
2. The range of input voltage should be between +/- 0.2 V and +/- 5 V
3. The ability to change the number of samples according to the input signal frequency
4. Save 320 values and then clear the memory and repeat
5. Sending the values to and lcd and to pc with serial Communication

I have experience with electronics and microcontrollers but I' ve never used a PIC before. Do you think it is possible to build a system with these specifications? If that is possible then which PIC and ADC should I choose?
