Hello,

I'm trying to design fancy LED display for xmas decoration for my store. I have 100 LEDs arranged as 3 concentric circles. The target MCU is of course PIC and the software is in C. I also utilised shift registers with latches to multiplex the I/Os. The challenge is putting together attractive complex patterns. The best I've been able to do is basic light chaser effect and a couple of flashes.

Please guys I need help with liks to websites or C routines or library or algorithms to make complex patterns like this.

Thanks

Dre

Well, i recomend you a really cool book; its name is Embedded Systems Building Blocks... and, in my opinion, one of the best books of C language programming.
