hey there,

I'm tring to export fields from a cylindrical PEC surface, using hfss's calculator.
In order to export the desired data i need to supply a pts file, contains the geometry coordinates of my structure.

Can i get this file from the hfss itself? or, how can i get this file?

thank you very much!

Sorry but I am not able to understand your problem. Let me know about following
1. You used HFSS calculator so plot some field?
2. What is the type of field means it is field plot on some geometry surface ?
3. You want to export that plot from HFSS?
4. In which format you want to export the plot means image, frame by frame or data points?
5. What is the possible reason to export to data and what is the intended thing you want to do with that plot?

As i said, i wish to export a data plot of E filed on a PEC surface.
A common way is to use Calculator ->Export.

After exporting the data i will process it with matlab
