Explanation how does nor/nand flash memory work

Hi
Can someone explain working of nor/nand flash memory or guide to some relevent stuff. How's it different frm normal RAM cell?

There's a paper by Toshiba on NAND flash memory. Please run search in the Ebooks upload/downloaded section with the key word: Flash. If you can't find it, PM me, and I'll upload it for you.

its a NAND / NOR EEPROM memory .You can find the working of Flash controller in Toshiba / Samsung website .

Why NOR Flash write operation is slow?Please explain in details? Let me know reason behind it?

NAND Flash systems enable faster write and erase by programming blocks of data
I think this is the reason why NAND flash write speed is higher than NOR flash.
