MHA are looking for an experienced PCB Designer to join the design team in Brisbane.
The candidate will be responsible for providing component layouts and routing printed circuit boards from supplied schematics and bills of material to requirements defined by a circuit design engineer.
All PCB designs are to be subject to SI / Cross-Talk simulation and analysis for manufacturability using the Altium application.
Task includes the provision of all electronic files and documentation for artworks and full drawing sets to Company standards for the manufacture and assembly of printed circuit boards (PCBs).
To layout and track complex multi-layer printed circuit boards using Altium ECAD tools
Responsible for producing manufacturing data packs for the manufacture and assembly of PCBs which meet defined project requirements to cost and schedule targets.
It is essential that candidates have the following skills and experience:
Experience in using the Altium tool suite in a PCB design environment, together with knowledge of, and experience of applying, IPC standards related to PCB design, specifically IPC2221.
Experience of working on complex multi-layer PCBs with micro-via technology, and working with a wide range of circuit requirements include high speed designs with signal integrity constraints, is considered essential.
Proven experience of creating PCB designs for demanding applications that have been successfully taken into production and into service.
Experience in designing for microwave and RF designs
Able to work to tight deadlines (regular or adhoc).
Good communication skills
Candidate must have necessary visa requirements to work within Australia.
