Ethernet Sniffer for VxWorks 6.x

Hi Friends,

I am looking for Ethernet Sniffer code for VxWorks 6.x. I have the same for VxWorks 5.5.
However two functions etherInputHookAdd() & etherOutputHookAdd() are depreciated in VxWorks 6.x. The Manual explains to use MuxBind instead, which is not working for me.

Am attaching the VxWorks 5.5 code for your reference.

kiran, i need ur help.. now my mtech project is to write a device driver for ethernet network card in vxworks... i saw ur posting saying something abt ethernet sniffer.. so, i hope u may be having code for "ethernet network card in vxworks".. can u pls send it to me... it would be very helpful to me..... waiting for ur reply with lots of hopes..... my mail: kranthi.ece@gmail.com

Hi Kranthi,

Find the attached file which is a Ethernet driver for VxWorks 5.3. Am not sure which version of VxWorks you are using. Also, The drivers are specific to the Processor Architecture, Ethernet chip etc....This file will give you some pointers and not the solution.
