How to estimate the area

I would like to know how to do the rough estimate of the required area to fabricate the layout of a inductor. Requesting to attach some materials regarding this. thanks in advance.

Re: How to estimate the area

This will depend on the design rules for the top (thick) metal.
Since you will know the number of turns, the area will depend on minimum spacing and line width of metal used. From there it is a simple calculation.

Re: How to estimate the area

Could you tell from where i can get the necessary formulas or is it possible to give the details?
