I have this esp8266 module, and I've updated the firmware to at 1.7 and now I can't get any AT command to work.
when I type any AT commands in serial monitor nothing shows up.
The at version that was on the esp before I update was 1.2.0.0 and I can't find this version anywhere.

the version I update the module to is from this link: https://www.espressif.com/en/products/socs/esp8266ex/resources
ESP8266 AT Bin V1.7.0
I need to downgrade to the default version to get the module work

Hi,

Did you use baud rate of 115.200?
Or other baud rates?

Klaus

Yes I used 115200
that worked before I update,
also tried 9600 after the update but it didn't show anything.
this is the tutorial I followed up to update, at the end he said that if I didn't get anything then the firmware isn't suitable for the module and I should try another firmware, but I can't find the default one (v1.2.0.0)
