Errors when running Quartus II at Suse 9.2 pro

quartus II errors

When I run quartus II 5.0 at suse 9.2 pro,I got these messages:

It's a bad message! Becuase the SUSE is best of linux version support Chinese,so I choose it.

Many thanks, perhaps I shoud install rh3.0 as.

Have you tried setting LD_ASSUME_KERNEL=2.4.1?

I have been using MAX+PLUS II in univ.Some friend of mine told me t use QUARTUS.Can any body tell me the difference etween them and also which one is powerfull.Also I want good tutorial on LINUX for self study.

Basically both are same.
But the quartus II is the advanced version and supports latest altera devices like Cyclone FPGA etc.,
If it is for learning , any one is OK. Infact the 'online help' in Max Plus II is better than Quartus.
But if u want to implement the logic in latest devices like Cyclone,u should use Quartus II.
