Hi every one
I want to simulate a time to digital converter in cadence, in "Analog Design Environment" that used for analysis, after selecting type of analysis and "netlist and run " button, i should see "successful" message to continue and plot, but i see "Ready" message instead,
what's the problem ?

Best Regards

You ought to see a "reading data... successful" at the end of
the spectre output window (or, an error message). "Ready"
may appear in a staus banner. Take a closer look at the
spectre output window starting from the bottom and working
back.

you must have forgot to do check and save, this problem happens when you proceed without checking and saving your design

That was not a message. That was a status indicator.

First, try Simulation>Recreate Netlist and see what
kind of complaints come up in the CIW. You may have
to scroll back, some, because it tends to be verbose.

Check & Save may have produced some connectivity
errors that inhibit netlisting - warnings, like open pins,
will not but some other errors will prevent a netlist
until you fix them.

thank u, i realized that my digital library don't add correctly to cadence.
i download this library again and now i don't know how add it !
can any one help me?

Your library file, is it a PSpice LIB file?
No, i missed "ahdlLib" library that contains Digital Gates, but i don't know how to add it.
i addressed it in log Menu: "Tools/Library Path Editor"
but it doesn't work correctly

Goto library manager-- edit---then you will see all the libraries there, you create a library by any name u desire and infront of that you'd hav to declare the path (that you will find in the properties of that lib file) ,just place your path and ur new library would be added :)

Thank u, i did it, but it doesn't work, when i use gate (or any other instance) of this library, simulation in "analog design environment" isn't successfully done, but it shows "Ready".

What models are you trying to use from this library, are they available separately as PSpice models which are easily importable? Can you open adhlib in notepad, if so what does it look like?

This library has different folders and each gate is one folder. any folder contains several folders and files that aren't open with notepad.
