Look under the MPLAB Drop Down Menu

Project >> Build Options >> MPLAB LINK30..

You should see some Heap and Stack size settings under the Linker Tab.

Select and set the Heap to the required size and then recompile.

I don't have MPLAB available at the moment, so I maybe off a bit in my directions.

However, these settings are in that general area.

Reference the C30 documentation for the suggested Heap size.
