kt914a
Hi
I have an old Russian transistor catalog from 1975 and it includes some data on KT914A as follows:
Si, npn
transit frequency, fT=350MHz
max. collector power, Pcmax=7Watts
max. collector-base and collector-emitter voltage, Vcb=Vce=65Volts
max. basis-emitter voltage, Vbe=4Volts
max. collector current, Ic=0.8A
peak collector current max=1.5A
power gain is still 3dB at 400MHz/28V collector voltage
They indicate this type as an amplifier for microwave.... but if it amplified around the lower UHF band then it must have been a well done manufacture.
So my opinion is that the RCA 2N3375 is just a perfect substitution for it but unfortunately it is also very old type and maybe difficult to obtain. The case/pin out is also the same.
You may search other, more modern types to replace the KT914A now that you are having some data on it.
